Kaci Orosco’s creative journey began in Las Cruces, NM, where she discovered her artistic flair at a young age. She attended Pepperdine University, gaining foundational art skills, contextualized by study of the humanities. Her path led her to a career as a physician assistant in Dermatology, providing her with a unique perspective on pattern recognition, form and pigment, and human anatomy—all of which deeply influence her artistic expression. During that time, Kaci remained dedicated to her art, training in Southern California under the guidance of acclaimed artist Stan Stevenson, and through Foundation Art School and Watts Atelier.

Still, the call to return to her roots in New Mexico and fully immerse herself in her artistry could not be ignored. Now based in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, Kaci has transformed her passion for art into a daily ritual in her studio. Infused with the radiant light of the Southwest sun, her paintings reflect her distinct perspective and unwavering commitment to capturing the essence of her beloved homeland.
